During the Meet-the-Scientist Session, delegates can look forward to an exciting and interactive session with the scientists to discover more about their lives and their passion for science. Delegates will have the opportunity to pose questions to the scientist and learn more about careers in science.
At the ISYF Keynote, delegates will hear from a Nobel Laureate who will share his research experience and views on issues centered around the theme of the forum, as well as address questions posed by the audience. The panel discussion and question-and-answer session will be facilitated by panel moderators. Delegates can look forward to an exciting sharing by Sir Konstantin Novoselov, Nobel Prize in Physics.

The Team Project Challenge (TPC) was introduced in ISYF 2019 to enhance the engagement of delegates through problem solving and hands-on activities, and was warmly received. This year, TPC has been revamped to give delegates a whole new and immersive experience for ISYFdigital 2021!
Not only will it retain the main essence of TPCs of the past, it will also put greater focus on the spirit of teamwork and science as a common language. Through collective research, collaboration and ideation, we hope to draw on the diversity of the ISYF delegation to ultimately deepen everyone’s appreciation for science and its relevance.

Passion for science is the common denominator for all of us at ISYF. We believe that through this online poster exhibition, we all stand to learn something from one another’s research experiences.
We encourage everyone to show support by viewing and voting for their favourite posters! Delegations with the top research posters will be given the opportunity to showcase them to a live virtual audience, including guest judges, during the Poster Showcase session.

Ever wondered what’s the coldest temperature ever reached? Would you find it in places like Antarctica? Or in some other planet beyond Earth? In this interactive session, led by Mr Patrick Helean and Dr Hans Bachor from Questacon, Australia’s National Science and Technology Centre, we will attempt to find out just where this place might be.
Questacon, since its opening in 1988, has been striving to spread the passion for science and technology to the citizens of Australia and beyond. Our presenters have likewise been doing so, both experienced and proficient in holding demonstration-based experiments, we look forward to a brand new kind of online science with them: Science ‘Dexperimentation’. Together, we will explore the limits of temperature in this exciting workshop!
